The Mystery Is Solved and We Have a New Face to Introduce - June at Nail Dreamers

June was a spectacular month, and we're thrilled to open with good news.

If you've been following along, you know we spent a big chunk of May in what we called the Hot Water Saga. It started with a new washer and dryer, but that led to needing a new hot water tank, and that's when things spiraled: we ran out of hot water completely, resorted to boiling kettles between services, and called in more plumber visits than we can count. We were honest with you through all of it, because you deserved to know why something as simple as warm water had become such a fight for us.

The Answer, Finally

After weeks of chasing down every obvious culprit, the real problem turned out to be something none of us had thought to look at: the way the plumbing was originally run for our head spa units. The pipes feeding the head spas were tied into the system in a way that let cold water sneak in and mix directly with the water sitting in our hot water tank. Every time those lines were in use, they were quietly stealing the heat right out of our supply.

Honestly, it took us a minute to wrap our heads around it ourselves. It's not the kind of thing you'd ever guess from the outside; it wasn't the tank, it wasn't the breaker, it wasn't the new appliances. It was a plumbing decision made long before we ever moved in, finally catching up with us.

Once that was identified and corrected, the difference was immediate. Consistent hot water, every chair, every service, every time. No more kettles. We can't tell you how good it feels to say that.

Thank you again to everyone who sat through the uncertain weeks with patience and kindness. This one took longer to crack than we ever expected, but we're on the other side of it now, and we're not taking a single warm rinse for granted.

The second highlight of June is a new face in the salon: please welcome Tracy to the Nail Dreamers team.

Tracy comes to us with a wealth of experience, and honestly, it shows the moment she starts working. She did a brand new set for me, and the result was stunning, clean, detailed, exactly the kind of standard we hold ourselves to. Watching her work has been a genuine treat.

Bringing Tracy on board means we're able to offer even more availability and elevate the level of service we bring to every appointment. We're so excited for you to meet her, and even more excited for you to sit in her chair.

Looking Ahead

Between finally solving a problem that had followed us for weeks and welcoming someone as talented as Tracy to the family, June reminded us why we love doing this. The hard chapters make the good ones feel even better, and this was a good one.
